I'm sorry if this is offending but think of it like this:
        If you see a bear, the first this you'll do is probably get scared right? Or maybe even run. It's human instincts. So as Ajins, They were still under investigation on this manga, It's also like a virus since it said that the Ajin will not know that they are Ajins unless they die. It's actually a 50/50% for both human side and ajin side but there's just a 5% more on the humans since they use ajins as experiment subjects without considering the Ajin itself. Even if it's for the sake of the Humans, Ajins are also once humans and i think the humans still did not know that even if ajins become immortal, they can still feel the pain of dying

They know that ajins feel pain dude how is it not oblivious

@Blockhead
Ajins are techincally humans though, just immortal (mostly can't die from physical wounds that would normally kill regular humans from what we've seen).
According to international law, ". . .condemned torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment. . .". (sorry I tried to make it short so there are parts missing) https://www.ohchr.org/sites/default/files/Documents/Publications/FactSheet4rev.1en.pdf

I understand your viewpoint but humans hurting/conducting experiments on Ajins just because they are different isn't very ethical and humane. As @Kotoe said, the Ajins feel pain too. And as @Ikemen's baby said, the Ajins didn't hurt anybody, they just happened to get very injured one day, found out they were Ajins, and procceded to get chased by people who are either after their bounty or body.

I'm sure the laws in this world are very different from the laws in "Ajin" but as I said before, their treatment of Ajins is not the best.

@Manta Considering this manga and the real world, the spoiler in your signature is not that unpopular of an opinion.
