In the novel, the baby was a female alpha, and they were having a hard time because of that. Their baby eyes looked like Shen's, but her attitude and facial features were just like Lian Jue's. It's a happy ending and Shen and Lian are having a second baby. Sorry for the spoiler overload. recommend, good story
