i really hate when they started to use the bad past so that it could justify their bad behavior, taehwan is just straight up bad okay? not any of his past jusrify his action i hate when yhe author started to guilt trip like " like he has a bad past he should be forgiven" or " hw has a trauma we should understand him" no gurly he is just straight up scum he is a son of a lucifer he ia bad not his past can justify it. so you forgive him and then forget what he did to yoenwoo just because he was abused that is a next level of toxicity i hope taehwan die or just he deserves to be abuse in every way as possible because that's just how it is he's nothing but a scum who uses his bad past so he could get way with anything.

Girl, it ain't that deep, it's just fiction. Of course irl that would be unforgivable but in fiction I don't think that's applicable, can't force the morals you have on your daily live in a manhwa. You clearly can't separate fiction from reality. I think his development is really good, I like how he is written and the way he realized what he did wrong. Just an opinion thought.
I do agree with you that people can't use traumas as an excuse to hurt others, but srsly this is fiction, the author can do whatever she wants with it. Don't like it? Then don't read it, easy. Besides, atleast this manhwa is not like others wherein the lover just confess his feelings and boom all is well, IT'S NOT. Taewhan knows his mistakes and you can clearly see his development.
you are interpreting him to be written that way. he has never asked for forgiveness cause of the way his trauma makes him act. he's never acted like his trauma was an excuse, but it's mainly an explanation. he isn't forcing yeonwoo to forgive him just cause he's damaged. all i'm saying is that his past actions have an explanation and not everyone reacts to trauma healthily.

Cause yeonwu doesn't know anything about his trauma and taehwan is not forcing himself to yeonwu thinking that he would accept him just because his "bad past" makes everything okay. Taewhan knows about his mistakes and that's the reason why he changed. He has never used his trauma so he can get everything he wants.

Yeah it's definitely wrong to justify someone's wrong actions using a bad past, but I don't really see that happening here?? The bad past has been given as a REASON for his actions, not a JUSTIFICATION, its so that we can UNDERSTAND him, not FORGIVE him. And as I see it, taehwan is doing everything he can to earn yeonwu's forgiveness, he's giving him space, he's apologising through his actions and he's finally being real with yeonwu. Don't you see?
