Its not creepy as someone who saw their daughter died once they would act like this.... Emperor constantly threatening her your wife died with something similar. Ive seen worst over protective father behaviout
I get the protective side and the fact that he needed to confront Max. I get less the Jealous side.
Like saying "don't touch her" when he only touch her hand is much more of jealous than protective.
