Ok so..  I think what's going on here is...

Omega is betraying the Alpha, he waits till the Alpha is gone to message this person both times he's contacted him.
+ He is hesitant to go through with it because he's still unsure about whether or not the Alpha's feelings are genuine towards him or not. (In the beginning of the chapter he was trying to convince himself that the Alpha is only treating him kindly because that's what they had agreed on, so his kindness comes from wanting to keep his word not any affect he feels towards the omega) So the general idea is... "Since you're probably just using me, i don't see why stay loyal to you"? But i feel like the omega is overthinking this and misjudging the Alpha, and this is where the drama starts.

Everything else with the business and the auction?  Ha, I'm just as lost as you.
