For me nope coz I'm an adopted child too and it's pretty difficult and I have many probs and if he stands out too much many will expect for him and I don't like pain too•³•
He is trying to change what happens in future because he doesn't like pain and he doesn't want to get involved in the war that is gonna happen and personally I would do the same
Your initial judgement is pretty considerable. I mean as a reincarnated person who legitimately knows the story in itself. It does feel like he is half assing everything. But when you know the reincarnated persons past. You'll take everything back and would think it makes a lot of sense.

Literally didn't understand Cale's goal LMAO Cale's goal is to not get beaten up by Choi Han. He wants to have his slacker life, he doesn't want to get involve with different type of sh***, he doesn't want to get involve with the upcoming war that's gonna happen in that world. Like what do you expect from a person that doesn't like pain?💀

It's understandable if we hadn't known Caleb's goal-
He isn't the type to go "I'll fix the world entirely! And get all the fame by being nice and kind like a cliché hero !" he's more "F.ck this and F.ck that, I just don't want to die so let just do what I should, to not die and live miserably."
He does the bare minimum because he only needs the bare minimum to survive 💀
He also "Walk inside he own walls" because he's a quiet type of person probably.
He isn't a energetic type or loud person, he's a calm person as we could see in his very first episode.
A calm rethinking of what his past life and memories about that book was when he was showering. Not a panicking crackhead thinking how they could survive in such a drunk hard body.
If you do not like this personality ngl, I would think it best switching to another story because this personality is gonna be the base personality setting of our MC in the WHOLE story.
And ngl i just don't like having your experience be ruined by continuing this story but as well complaining about something that isn't even illogical and then ruin ours as well even tho we actually enjoy this story unlike you.
