Could please someone sum up the story, please I'm begging. I try to understand the translation but it's not working 
I still don't understand why Jack is working with Ian, what's his target in this relationship

Okay, so… if y understood correctly :
-Jack is the king of Archaia and he was reuniting some solidiers in order to find someone « special » in Derwin country (Ian’s country, I think that’s the name lol) then he found Ian, the one he was looking for.
-This assemble of soldiers was interpreted as a preparation of war from Archaia, so people from Derwin are afraid of some archaian messing their peaceful lives up
-Ian is a knight from Derwin country, and originally he thought Jack was a bad person but then, Jack explained to him that some people are kidnapping children for their powers
-So they work together to discover who ordered for children to be kidnapped and where do the children go after
-Then you have all the part where Ian and Jack go to the party (where children are gathered) together (TEAM UP TIME, yesss ^^)
-Cardinal Brinxton is informed of the kidnapping of the children and that an archaian is also connected to the matter so he organised for the knight to be deployed at the party
-Ian’s first thought is to allow Jack to flee before knights’ arrival
-Finally, the moment to free the children and run away before the knights’ arrival comes and Ian discovers in some papers that the children are transported to Archaia (Jack’s country) and even Jack doesn’t know about this.
That’s basically the story, I’m not really good at summarising so if you have more questions, just ask ;)
