You guys, the vampires aren't ancient threats they are recent. From what I got reading this each high level creature where ones humans scorned and tortured by humanity. The timeliness their previous self and current self won't surpass a decade. So that really is a vampire child. The bald dudes reaction was valid, he's human not heartless.
