@lucky II It's either poorly explained or AI slop. My current understanding is in middle school, the dad mentally handicapped the mom after giving her brain damage, and then some unknown amount of time after that, he killed her, MC re-awakened, killed the dad, and got imprisoned. The main two issues are that he doesn't look much older when he reawakened, but that could be the artist's mistake. The second is that the mom was mentally scarred or disabled, but took him out to an amusement park, but they never said how bad the scar/disability was, so it's not quite a plot hole yet, but does need explaining.
