Bro has to pull out the worst statement to explain the existence of ghost. Just so you know science rejects the idea of the existence of ghost, reincarnation and soul meanwhile the law of conservation of energy states that "Energy can neither be created nor destroyed, It can be transformed from one body to another" which clearly contradicts whatever Andrew stated. If you treat soul as a source or form of energy, the law itself says that it can't be destroyed it will be moved or transformed (reincarnation) but you never know when the energy will find it's new vessel . Till then it is subjected to wonder since it can't be destroyed. An energy doesn't have a brain/memory so they don't remember anything that happened to you before you were born. The memory disintegrates with the brain after you pass away but this statement is also contradicted by several cases where scientist has shown a child reincarnation with the memories of his past.
Does the initial belief of humans for ghosts ever stated that it can "physically" harm you? No. It can damage you mentally as well and that the soul purpose of a ghost existence just like your sleep paralysis. A hallucination is enough to make you react with emotions that he doesn't even need to make any physical contact
I am someone from medical background and what my uni professor said, Human anatomy is one of the most complex structure in the world. Doesn't matter how much you study about it. You will find something new everyday. He further stated that science is a belief just like myth but with proofs. There are several cases in which science failed to explain of it's existence. Alot of theories and proofs are coming everyday so can you really blindly belief on something that is subjected to change in future once it is proven wrong
