@I_Love_saiki_k Well, yeah, that’s how it should be, but this is pretty different. First of all, Shin believes that running away from Jake is useless, so it's best to stay with him and protect Gren, second of all, the one who was shot is his partner (it wasn't the greatest start and it may have been unwilling, but he gave Shin the life he always wanted).
We can say Gren does not have bad intentions towards Shin because we see his point of view, but even if he is his younger brother, he is someone he hasn't seen, and lived with for years!
