@Dewani90 it looks like that kingdom is more like the Vatican and the pope was her ruler, maybe allied kingdoms can do something about but if the people they normally does business and relationships are all in Hervas' faction they would hardly notice the coup...
I think that Hervas guy is a big peace of sh** but he was right in one thing, good will alone is naive, to rule a country you need political power and real power and determination to purge evil and rotten roots or you will end up like that pope girl and who will end up suffering are the people and the real believers...

@Gattsu you're right about country being like Vatican, and about that guy being sh**, but, you're wrong about good will and political power part; it's actually only an excuse, that old man is just totally corrupted (consider this spoilers from novel)

@Devilish Pixie I said that he is right in what he said, not about his actions and his motivations, you could have all the good will but without political and economic power you will do nothing, that pope girl is naive cause she think she can do things without the help of people with power that can back her up in cases like this one, this is what she gets for only focusing in good will, as a ruler she's quite incompetent cause she let a trash like that guy take the power completly to the point that she would have died already without MC's help
