@Cinz28 Probably because it'll constantly remind him of what he could've had. I think there was mention somewhere that he always wanted a child who looked like Navier, so knowing that they exist but not with him (and probably constantly being reminded of it due to their status as a prince or princess of the neighboring empire) would likely fu** with him even more.
