Well now I hate Hee-ryang's family too. I wanna see that half brother, how he grew up and what kind of man he is now 
I can see he understands the father kinda didn't had a lot of choices cause the wife was losing her sh*t, but the father still screwed up. I don't think he had to be that mean, Hee-ryang is his son too and he was not to blame for what his legitimate son lacks. Maybe my poor baby was excelling in his studies cause he wanted to make a good impresion and ended up being thrown away because of that
Now I believe Hee-ryang has a purpose too, just like Yeonjo he seeks vengeance. I love it when the plot starts plotting
