@Equinox The entire selling point of necromancy is them summoning the undead to fight for them, of course its disappointing when its not used properly and more like an "absorption" type of ability rather than an actual traditional necromancy ability. They also mainly use those souls to transfer them into bodies or objects however as I understand it, not all necromancers use souls in the first place and rather revive them with magic. I think lich's mainly use souls to sustain themself.
You want to call what he does necromancy, sure, run with it. But let's be honest. At the heart and essence of the meaning, this manwha is a mislabeled concept. Power cannibalism that wanted to borrow a different paint job. 'Soul Eating Swordsman' is what I see.

@Ita Good info. I never really had a problem with the creator of the work though. Although I didn't personally know about this particular work's mislabelled title, I'm only too painfully aware in general that translators take creative license on titles for their own purposes.
