I believe that there are two seeds inside the Peach Boy's body. One of them is a regular peach seed, which when consumed turns the body into a peach tree. The other seed, however, acts as an antidote to prevent the person who consumes the first seed from turning into a peach tree. This second seed is extremely precious, and giving it to someone else would result in the Peach Boy's death. The second seed can only be obtained if the Peach Boy is in love with the person. It is believed that consuming both seeds will result in good health, free from sickness and curses, which is why people are searching for them. However, most people do not know about the second seed and end up consuming only the first one. This causes them to become a peach tree as they are unable to acquire the second seed.
