I will eventualy have to re-read it since the begining but it seems to me that the ML personality is to rigid to sentimentally play with somebody or to help and keep someone on his own house only for s** issues...

@Red is sus... That doesn't matter. MC is not a mindreader, he won't know if they don't talk about it and they never talked about anything important. ML never apologized, never asked him out and never proposed so how would MC know...
