so the only people who have left an impact on your life are those thatre nice to you, but not those that are nice in general, because not once have you ever stopped to think that maybe the guards youve killed couldve shown you kindness in another context. its not about 'who they are' and what their values are, its how they will use those to treat you in a manner that is favorable to YOU.
she tried killing herself to save humanity, yet you didnt care and stopped her, because she was nice to you and you formed a bond with her, which 'made you feel warm.' YOU. felt warm. you said you would protect her, and it didnt matter if all of humanity died so long as you would protect her until the end. but what about humanity? there are probably billions of humans that would treat you the same; or maybe even BETTER than her, yet you will let them die because they haven't been nice to you. because they havent made you feel that warm feeling.
