@Yww she chose to be in a situation that put her at a bad disadvantage, if mc doesn't go through with it, this could ruin her reputation or worse. She's telling her ways so the mc won't have to ruin her life. If there other ways, she wouldn't have said it. She's not being cruel, she's being honest. But it looks like you want friends that don't tell you how it is, and only are there for decorations
