@Raon_Mir because most likely nothing will be solved in this story, atleast not between the two main characters. The author would probably just romanticize the messed up relationship or make it less awful even tho it's not only about how these two act towards eachother but the true problem is how the two feel for eachother- obsession on one hand and utter guilt on the other and that won't be fixed if the two stayed together. You can't stay with the source of the suffer even after the suffer ends, because you will forever be mentally stuck in that suffering
