@H i s o k a simple, before he only had himself and revenge, he doesn't have anything to lose he can go wild and no one can stop him. But now he have place to return and comrade to look for

@Trung Trần Đức not really. They just chosen to mellow out his way of killing. In the novel he's still cruel, more cruel if i must say. The way he killed them one after the other, his ways and stuff were so detailed there. In this season especially in this chapter, they just show lots of hanging dead bodies without the process how he killed them that's why it felt less cruel. They made that child demon a lot more cruel than him in this season tbh.
