Not sure how you would classify her family as weak. Doesn't her father commander one of the strongest units in the nations military and is a war hero?

@Jake I think it's because Sasha's dad doesn't really care about politics or climbing up the ladder of nobility. I mean it's mentioned that he declined being a commander after all.
