This plan is either to kill Veramude, one of the Crown Princes greatest supporters, or to straight up just kill the Crown Prince and his family now that their Stalwart protector is gone. Then there would be no one in the way of the creation of the Achtswerts and the Emperor's further stranglehold on power.
