Comment on ChapterPredatory Marriage - Chapter 66
I'm kinda sick and tired of seeing "manly" women and soft "girly-looking" pretty boys being paired together. It's like saying that masculine-looking men can't possibly like a female warrior with muscles. Meanwhile, I've seen plenty of the opposite pairing: "girly-girls" with "pretty boys". I just want to see a change of pace instead of the usual cliche...and why on earth was Genin drawn like Ishakhan in the flashback?? Come on artist team, get it together.

As soon as I saw the image of Genin's partner from the back, I knew what happened. You can't just hope that the next king will be different. They need some customs and laws to make sure that kind of thing doesn't happen again.

@R Let me rephrase that, bc I don't think that a lot of "masculine-looking" men will actually like female warriors with muscles or just women with muscles. You know, since society thinks that women should be thin, weak, and defenseless etc. In other words, like Leah (at least in physicality, since she's a highly intelligent person).

Rather, I guess it's like saying that "masculine-looking", muscular men and female warriors with muscles or just women with muscles can't be portrayed together as being in a relationship.

Some people may say that muscles are "masculine", so if a woman has muscles, then she's the "masculine" one in the relationship, meaning that the guy must be the "feminine" one, which is portayed as being thin, weak, and "girly-looking". That's honestly bullshit. Having them both be warriors would've been a nice change of pace.
@Meowed  😂😂 The stories are here to comment on. If I want to comment on something, then I will.
@R There's a difference between comments and insults, you just say what you wanna say without even giving a chance of showing kindness. Can you do what the artists do? Can you write a story and draw it beautifully? No. So shut the f*** up  because apart from being insanely rude , you also acting like a total sexist di**head. If you reply your proving my point..trollface sticker
@YOUR THERAPIST Where on earth is the insult? Genin really did look like Ishakan in the flashback, which can cause confusion to some readers. That's not an insult to the artist team, it's an observation. I didn't say they were sh*t or anything. There's no insult. Stop making things up.

Idk how you interpreted what I said as sexist. Whenever there's a "masculine" woman, she's always with a "feminine" man. From the stories that I've read, that's how it is when the man isn't "masculine", or when the woman isn't "feminine". I would like to see a change or pace where they have two warriors (male and female with warrior physiques) together. How is that sexist? I'm honestly so confused on how you guys read my comment. I would like to see something different from the norm. I want to see a pairing that glorifies muscular women without portraying them as "the man" in the relationship.

That meowed person and you, called me b*tch and a sexist d*ckhead, but you have the nerve to say that I'm insulting someone? Lol
@R The idea that women can't have muscles and remain "feminine" is what I'm tired of seeing, because that's not true. I would like to see this portrayed in a positive way in media, and you think that's sexist? Lol, that's not sexist. If anything, that's empowering the female image. Showing that women can exist outside of the box that society puts them in, and still be women/feminine. You think that's wrong? Lol get help.
@R Rather than seeing the norm among shipping, it would be nice to see a pairing of someone like Genin with a guy that has the size and physique of someone like Ishakan. I mean a change of pace like that. If that's sexist to you, then let's just agree to disagree.
@R if you're calling Genin's husband feminine just bc he's weak and on wheelchair, I think you think over it properly. Just bc he has long hair which is braided, on wheelchair, admiring flowers doesn't make him feminine. And about Genin carrying her husband, he can't walk and she's physically capable of doing that! Do not insult the characters using the terms 'masculine' and 'feminine'.
