@Victim of Depression the pacing, yes, is fast, but the feelings aren't forced; they're just not deep since the plot isn't either. since the first few chapters, the tiger was already comfortable with the cat because that was his pet for a month. the tiger's monologue constantly mentions how he isn't sure why he feels so inclined towards the cat shifter, but does anyway, and he is affectionate because that's how he was previously. the tiger is a bold character which stems from the animal itself. the cat shifter has very obviously been shown to not be as comfortable with the tiger and has been very wary unless the tiger's guard is down which is how he has been since they first met. i'm lowkey lazy so i'm gonna end this here.
