Except we do, thing is we are emotional and so hatred toward a mindless destroyer would have been an easy thing. There are countless cases that being the case. 300 years is too soon for the scars to even heal. More so it would be easy for any institution to gain power by capitilising on hatred on Omphalous, not the other way around...
