Idk the details tbh but taeui will eventually say what Ilay wants to hear ("im yours" something like that) which calms him down and the next day when taeui wakes up he explains that he never meant to leave and actually wanted to return to him (but ilay doesnt apologize, he reacts kinda strangely neither positive or negative I think) and they both seek shelter in Berlin and that's actually the end of the story already. (I don't remember the things in the novel clearly so idk if the stuff I said is accurate :'))
