@Someone he hasn't aweakend serpent yet, serpent is in his soul so that's way the guardian of the temple recognised that, just for you to know every slave of the shadow god possesses a serpent 

@Someone The boy in the slave caravan wasn't actually Sunny's body. Just a reenactment of an event in the past with someone similar enough to the Dreamer to be tested in their body. The test being whether they can survive their trial or not.

@Lost from Rizz If remember correctly (prolly wrong) but doesn't tht cause serpent to help with essence, so it should still be there but dormant(inactive)

@Someone it does help but he didn't awaken it yet so it is hidden in his soul, when he awakens it, it become a tattoo so no he shouldn't have the serpent tattoo even though it is in his soul 

@Lost from Rizz also it is useless bc he can't control shadow essence on dormant rank, just after awakening but a theory of mine is that he could naturally awaken if he had serpent as a dormant but I don't know if he would need to have a complete soul core of not, maybe he wouldn't bc it looks like people can awaken with one or more cores but maybe he would need the cores he already has to be full for him to awaken, a thing he can't do until he have his seventh core bc he gets a new core the moments the ones he already has becames full
