Comment on ChapterTondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi - Chapter 41

I'll just post this here since this is where it happened.

There is a key difference between the manga and novel to which I don't understand why the manga decided to change it.
-Vahagn (g** of war) gave his blessing to not only Dora but also to Fer as well much to the ignored protest of Ninlil.
-Sui doesn't need fire from any external source as he is able to mold it inside his body.
-The biggest one is that Hephaestus and Vahagn gave Mukouda a broken skill called 'absolute defense'. As the name suggests, Mukouda was now blessed with invulnerability to all threats, both physical or magical. Combined with the small blessings of Kishar, Agni, and Ninlil he was now immune to sickness or poisons. Thus the only way he could die now was through old age/time.

But . . . .

Spoiler!
The gods/goddesses constant interference with the mortal world ends up getting the attention of Demigurge, the g** of creation. He ends up having to discipline them for getting too over involved with the mortal world and confiscates their offerings. Needless to say, Demigurge helps Mukouda renegotiate his deal with the gods/goddesses to lessen the burden on him. As thanks, Mukouda starts giving offerings to him to which Demigurge then gives him a small blessing which has the effect of extending your life based on your level. Thus Mukouda will now live as long as high elf up to 1,500 years much to the joy of his familiars of having him around longer and slight worry for him of not knowing how to feel about it.

Romance

Spoiler!
He does fancy an elf girl named Feodora. But ends up dropping that idea after discovering she's a GILF.

Three heroes

Spoiler!
Mukouda's intuition was right on the money about something fishy with the royal family and the story they told. They wanted to use the heroes as weapons of mass destruction to conquer and expand their territory. Thus they were going to use slave contracts on them. Skipping over details they escape to another country and get married after becoming adventurers.

Mukouda 'strength'

Spoiler!
Up to the recent chapters, he's lvl 90. He does participate in some battles. But leaves the bigger game to his familiars. Stat wise, he's better then average folks but can't really compare to warrior class adventurer/hero lvl stats.

In the grander picture as far as the hierarchy is concerned, Mukouda and his familiars are nuclear deterrents. Just their presence now is enough to keep the peace between kingdoms as nobles/royalty has a hands off approach to him. Right now he just got another stupidly op familiar following him who is the ancient dragon that Fer fought 200 hundred years ago.

@JustWatching So what I'm reading is:

Spoiler!
The familiars want tasty food.

Human wars or other meddling can interfere with getting tasty food.

So pis**** off the familiars in any way is a no go, and that includes starting wars.
@Galactic Navy Officer That would probably be how Mukouda would explain it to them since they don't care to involve themselves in small and petty human conflicts like wars. However they would be totally down in going wild spreading mass destruction since . . . .

Spoiler!
They do enjoy destroying things. By 478 in the LN, Demigurgos requests Mukouda and his familiars to deal with the Rubanov holy kingdom since they've been causing trouble while also spreading around a fake religion. The familiars were totally stoked in getting permission by g** to destroy an entire country. Even Mukouda was getting annoyed by getting harrassed by them. But Mukouda wasn't comfortable with the idea of genocide and thus choose a lesser action much to the dissapointment of his familiars to which they nuked Rubanov's main church as a warning that if they step out of line in the future then the country would be wiped off the map. The familiars are totally cool with doing it. But for Mukouda, it was more of a bluff.
