Can someone explain to me how it was 14 years? Does this mean after Jiwook left the house 6 years passed? I need an explanation please!!

@Christine Quirino as far as I remember jiwook left seungeon when they were about 19 or 20 smth and after few years(I forgot how many yrs jiwook was 23 or 24 idk ) seungeon found jiwook and graped him (if u remember it was when they were about to go to America but jiwook ran away) then again they got separated cuz obv jiwook ran away.
Then after few yrs they met again (now jiwook is 33 or smth I don't exactly remember how they met but as far I remember is jiwook was told by old geezer/loan shark that seungeon is the one who made jiwook pay loan so jiwook went to seungeon and they met again)
So to sum up
Jiwook in high school - 19
Jiwook now - 33
So 33- 19= 14 yrs
Maybe I made few mistakes in explaining but that's really how much I know also I'm not good at eng (I'm not native) so excuse my grammar
