I normally enjoy babies and kids but for some reason this kid but in this story not so much, I am a bit tired of him. This is because he is written as super naive and is being used a plot driver to pull the ML and FL together. I understand the two is miscommunicating but without knowing it and being a son to his mom, he should be wary of the emperor. If the mom is nervous and trying to run from the emperor, an understanding son would have been empathetic but he feels like he is pushing his own agenda by being stupid. Mom says no capital, the meperor offers a bribe, son says he wants to go regardless of mother's feelings... normally a loving son would say ok mom...but he is spoiled. He was so cute at the beginning but as the story progress he seems more spoiled and annoying.
