@Kiki_yours_fujoshi The King has a husband but he wasn't able to get pregnant that's why he took Chris as his concubine. In the original story Chris gave birth to a son but after the King's wife gave birth to a child both Chris and his son were assassinated. MC tried to avoid this faith by not clinging to the King as he knew that his purpose was to give birth to a child. He also tried to get on the Kings good side by saying he knows his place. This harem type is somehow same with the Chinese harem were their main role is to give the King an heir. And the Queen is still the main wife and has the most power in the harem and also the King's favorite.

@ilovebigtitties it wasn't common for Europeans (who practiced monogamy) which is how they're dressed and what they're clearly based on. If they're gonna have tgempolygamous have them based off Asia not Europe

@B in Europe history, mono was in forced on everyone but the king. The king is supposed to be mono too but it wasn't in forced for several reasons. Some cheated on their queens by having their lovers move too. One murdered all of his wives. Children were murdered to weaken the wife's position so the king could marry another woman. One prince had an arranged marriage (peace treaty) but had s** with a widow woman that was 3x his age. Divorce was an option, but there was a lot of deaths.
