@HyunjinNextBestie -(yapping incoming)- this question always amused me, I looked it up online but never got something that was simplified enough so I would just leave , we asked our teacher back then and he said eggs came first and even gave a detailed explanation of how but I zoned out because it was too complicated 😭 I just remember he talked about amniotic eggs which apparently came around 300-400 million years ago or something (which is obviously wayy before chickens) 

but in conclusion- egg did really came first,  if you ask "where did the chicken come from then?" it also came from an egg, laid by a reptile or other animal. 

and also the term "evolution" is very confusing to me, because at what point did the evolution happen or when did it exactly happen? how was it like? did a reptile lay an egg and a bird hatched out of it? It doesn't sound correct but there's no other way around it too, is there? 
my head hurts
