I remember my stepfather hit (actually slapped, but still) my mom once in their whole 13 years long relationship. After that my mom hit him back, called my grandma and took me and my brother 500 km away from him to her hometown. After 3 months my mom accepted his apology and they got back together. The next 10 years of their relationship he never hit my mom again. He really changed for my mom. Anyways your dad is a huge W
