I think if Diana wasn't there to use his messed up childhood to further gain her influence next to him and (I mean he was already screwed up from childhood) he'll literally would be like one of the other hundreds of ML Emperors we read about. I honestly think him and our FL would have been good together like any cliche manhwa 
but of course it would have been nice if he treated her with respect from the RIP!Â
