Comment on ChapterLily of the Valley - Chapter 8
I don't understand Lily. At first she says "you're the only person who wants me" to Anna but then turns around and says that no one back at her home has wanted her. She cries about not feeling wanted despite Anna doing literally everything for her as we see at the start and above all else making sure Lily is safe and happy. I get that Rose manipulated her into thinking to want someone is to lu** and have s** with them but still, how does she not see that Anna, the person who's been by her side since they were kids/teens, wants her? But sees how the duchess oh so loves her. I hope to g** it ends with Lily and Anna. That's the couple we saw from the beginning and the one we should end with. Rose is a bad person. But I also wouldn't mind seeing Lily pick Rose and Anna finding happiness with another woman who won't have s** with a lady she barely knows. And then Lily realising she made the wrong decision when the duchess finally discards her for a new fucktoy.

@Angeldecay  this comment is so real ngl anna deserves way better like how blind is lily how can she not see how much anna loves and cares about her and how rose is a manipulative lying little bi***
@Angeldecay  I think the writing is flawed, making Lily come across as very unlikable.

In the last chapter, it's clear that Lily and Anna see their relationship differently. Lily feels hurt because Anna rejected her sexually, which seems to be all that matters to her. On the other hand, Anna feels betrayed because Lily lied about being committed to her. Anna believed they had something special, but Lily didn't see it that way. They were never on the same page, and Lily appears selfish and uncaring towards Anna.

Although I hope Anna and Lily end up together, Anna deserves better.
