@erik parker tailed beasts cannot die. They are literally sentient chakra. They are immortal, they are reborn like a pheonix. I think kurama left some of his chakra with himawari and after baryon mode all of kuramas chakra was gone from Naruto so i guess kurama was reborn from another of his own source chakra that is himawari
