Honestly the manhwa artist did great portraying Ilay's agony but the novel is *CHEF'S KISS* and i believe that one who read the novel has high expectations from the manhwa. But i read the raw and in my opinion they went comparatively gentle with the mirror scene. And i think that's for the best because a lot of readers will not be able to comprehend the actual misery that Tae went through..

@Hisoka.mxrrow ilay will mark Tae by biting him on his neck, and brutally grape him in front of a mirror to showcase that it's Ilay who owns Tae. It's like a game of powerplay where Ilay will basically forcefully make tae see that he was "claiming" him as his own. It's a pretty fuc*** up scene in my opinion.

@Goyuu The fan translation was on w*ttpad but was taken down due to copyright claims long time ago. I read a while back but i couldn't able to find another site to read it. The only method is to buy the novel in Ridibooks and translate it through third party apps like papago
