Idk why people are hating Shirak. He is just a kid and it is normal for a kid to be childish. Not to forget his circumstances. He was brought up by a witty woman who couldn't bear her jealousy and using her son to get the power. No matter how you look at it, Shirak is also a victim. His mind was moulded in such a way by his mother. Idk why people are expecting a 10 year old to be witty enough to grasp what's good and what's bad.

I agree that he is "just a kid". Altho he should be 15 yo and thus be a little bit mature than that.... As he grew up sheltered it isnt something unusual tho :)
@Shinberoy exactly! I agree that he lacks discipline given his status in imperial family but still. I don't thing people should be this harsh on him. It all happened in ancient time.
Kids in these days are more mature than the kids in those times. For eg. If we take a 90s kid and 20s kid you can see the difference between their wits(not saying that 90s are any less cause I belong to 90s). So he is not enough mature for his age ig if we consider the circumstances.
1.Also, like you said, he is sheltered and spoiled by his mother. He is unaware of of potential harm of many things.
2.As his parents, both seme and the queen should have paid attention to him.
3. We all know that kids and teenagers tend to imitate what elders do. They want to be like adults. And while attempting to be like adults they do mistakes. They fall, they learn, they stand and they walk. That's the process. Although sometimes those mistakes might be fatal (like now) and sometimes they're not.
@Jeon Jin in reality a Midevil 15 year old is basically a Man. Nobody in their right mind would choose to bring that baggage along... 😅🤷
