@JESTER I don't think they did it. They were going to sell them which isn't much better. Human trafficking is a horrendous crime and they should absolutely be punished for it.

@JESTER as bluephoenix mentioned, they were a human trafficking banditry gang. Those who participate in human trafficking tend not to ra** their victims, or are selective about it, as the less "damaged" their "goods" are, the more they can sell them for. As an example, a virgin white female from a noble family vs an african slave. The virgin white female would be sold at auction with a starting bid of close to the cost of a mansion. An african slave costs 1/20th that of a basic work horse. The human trafficker would either get a flat fee if they were working with or for someone or a certain percentage of the auction sale if they were freelance. A single scratch or scar could be the difference between enough money to buy a drink or enough money to retire x.x such a dirty business when you realize they are looking at people the same way they look at old comic books and original paintings -_-
