@Jace09 ikr. either the author doesnt understand how much 1 billion is, espectially in gold coins. or whomever did the translation made a mistake or like u said a typo. even going off real world ecconomics fort knox has roughly 290 billion. either every major city in this world is like fort knox for gold. or the knight just made the biggest bs deception knowing how greedy the pig is.

@Jace09 I think this is a korean manga or manhua so they didn't properly translate the amount they left it as 1 billion won which is around 750,00 USD but like either a bit less or more.

@LOL just for reference in 1650 the period which can be studied and compared with the current story without streching it too much, 100,000 ducats or gold was the entire budget collection of the most powerful kingdoms. 10,000 ducats could by you an 3000 men strong merc army for 4 years minimum.

@Jace09 And giving that to a corrupt priest. Just terrible.
