With how he's describing this, wouldn't this mean that the spirit in her house possibly isn't her dad at all, but something imitating him? Nothing's really described the reason behind the dog like thing that's always attached to him. As a reminder at this point, that what we see her for the spirits are from her perspective, which has proven to be problematic for her more times than not.

@Cheshire Puss the dog is creature is probably the dog of Miko's mom, there was a chapter where we got to see a glimpse of her parent's past, remember?
@Just Someone It's possible. They did example that animal spirits do exist, even if their form is... questionable due to the nature of her powers. Will be interesting to see how things develop.
