Someone questioned why so much blue, but blue and royalty are very deeply linked, reason we have a color called Royal Blue which won a contest in the 1700s for being richer then indigo and azure and was approved to be called Royal Blue by the very same King and Queen that chose it for their robes, King George III and Queen Charlotte, because of that it is tied to royalty, nobility and power. Red, blue and purple were always at some point in history a primary royal color.
