@L.k.dante to cover his tracks. He used the assistants weapon to make it look like the assistant killed the strategist.

@L.k.dante The man was dead either way, but this way he frames it perfectly and he prevents the strategist from revealing anything.

But, yeah, I agree that he didn't deserve it even if he was gonna die anyway.
