If I remember correctly he was poisoned by the empress and Caesar (if that's how you spell his name) since he kinda became a threat
to others which made them see him as an obstacle in the way, basically his death was a political move prob
(I might be incorrect as to WHY he was killed so pls don't just blindly listen to my messages, that's all ik involving his death I haven't fully finish the novel yet!
