This looks interesting, but the MC is one of the most frustrating FL's I have come across. Why are you holding your hopes up to remarry a guy, who divorced you in the first place and put you in debt? If this is what she wants fair enough, but it clearly isn't and holding out for a promise from the lips of a man who has given her many broken promises is silly

@Holdingon4dearlife fr I don't want her to be a damsel in distress, I don't want this guy to be her saviour, I want her to leave that scumbag and work for only herself

@Holdingon4dearlife i can definitely see what you mean but, when a women is unloved and depends on a man and past, it's very hard to leave them. she doesn't know her worth yet and even if she is holding onto empty words, that is her whole motivation to continue. this happens irl and is realistic. if you don't like it then that's defo understandable but many women go through this. my mom is like this and it's a very painful thing to see but that's just how life is

@Holdingon4dearlife true we hate those kinds of FL.. but ever wonder that she might be in a manipulate relationship...I mean you saw that in this chapter he is manipulating her to pay his debts...she might see him like a father figure or just someone to depend on

@Holdingon4dearlife Trauma bond
@Holdingon4dearlife her feelings for him is long ago I think, at least this what is giving me. It's more the trauma bond I think. She keeps pleasing him so he won't leave her, even if she doesn't really like him anymore, she just thinks she does. This is what is giving me
