As a person under my comment said I also think that she's a cure or she might be also infected, but in totally different way than Shuhei since her eyes look normal, but she's healing faster then normal humans and also don't forget how Shuhei said that "she smells really nice" like maybe it's something in her what attracts infected or maybe she have some control over "the odd ones" or something that they desire since in the second chapter the two of them said "ours" like they wanted her for some reasons
