@Gojo Satoru Well like you said, without the 'reader's point of view' this situation is one where should an orphan girl go with a man who is known for adopting and then passing the kid along once he is bored or a man who doesn't love her as his daughter but will still raise her as his daughter due to the fact that his son wants to be close to her? Althought the purple hair duke may not giv eher fatherly love, he will provide he enough money and a life where she can lived comfortably, more so than what the duke thinks than living with a man who lives on by himself and is known for being crazy in his actions and doesn't truly love anyone (even his own sons, he is known to be indifferent and not truely in love with them)

@Plotter As I explained as well, what you are saying is true and this is called seeing the situation from the logical side. But we, the readers, already know that Etam loves MC and, more importantly, that MC also loves him and WANTS to be with him. So it's natural for us readers to be angry at Duke Collin, we're only human and we're not going to think logically all the time

@Gojo Satoru not to mention his hypocrisy "oh really eirin is your daughter? so why was she in the same orphanage as my son?" b@stard if it took you YEARS to find your lost son who was in an orphanage right under your nose then you have no right to judge etam

@BTS ARMY07 I was unsure if he was calling MC or his son pet, but yeah, with how much he loves his son it makes more sense that he was calling MC pet. Ugh he's so annoying.
