I think airi probably fell for iori initially and then met ibuki and fell in love with him. Maybe her parents said she should be with iori rather than ibuki cause he had a more promising future. Idk this is all hypothetical but I think they couple love each other but ibuki seems to have like an inferiority complex towards iori

@PrincessGumdrop aslo for the age gap between airi and ibuki... iori and airi went to the same highschool, so they tough that the two of them were meant to be together??? idk it's confusing
