@Alternate Kitsune Most of all this family and clan members are a bunch of pieces of sh*t, it's specially bad with Kyle. The author tried to victimize the father by blaming things on fate and resententment and so on but the father is forgetting that he is the one that needs to take responsibility for his own failings. The reason there were even regressors in his clan in the 1st place was exactly because he was a horrible father that couldn't even take his role as an actual family head and make sure that his children and subjects weren't going around killing each other over power disputes. All of that could have been prevented if he stopped pushing kids on his wives irresponsibly and actually nurtured them from children into proper adults.

We have seen so many children turning psychotic exactly because of a lack of proper parenthood... he had freaking 31 children!!! From a father that had to kill outside threats of his territory from monsters and the like, maybe he should have slowed down with the baby factory... Kyle is a massive failure of a character, f*ck him!!! The overlord is just another of many consequences of his negligence and brutality.
